Sarah Zamora is the zany artist behind the easel creating each painting for 'Original Youth'. Married to J, and the mother of super-girl Sophia Renee and toddler Diego, she turned a hobby into a business when crafting handmade gifts for friends and family became a hot commodity. 'Original Youth' was developed as she was inspired by the kids that surround her and the fun, simple things they love. Sarah also enjoys creating art for 'grown-ups' too, her walls (and those of friends, family, and a few clients) are decorated with more serious work. Check out some contemporary art for sale here. Sarah has always thrived on creating objects of art, and a home studio was a natural way to stay full-time with the kiddos while pursuing her passion of painting. Sarah has always been known as creative (and crafty). She has taught art, calligraphy, and jewelry classes to children ages 6 weeks to age 12, as well as adults. Sarah is available to paint Murals and apply faux finishes and texture as well. In her 'spare' time, she enjoys making ATCs, cooking, baking, and scrap-booking. She also occasionally creates folk art pieces for friends, paints on bisque pottery, makes jewelry, bakes special occasion cakes, arranges flowers, and creates custom gourmet gift baskets. Her other former jobs have included: Wedding Coordinator, Creative Arts preschool teacher, Sous Chef, Church Children's Director, Professional Nanny (travelling to 6 countries), and At-Risk youth counselor. She is a self-taught artist; she relies on her instincts, feelings, emotions, whims, visions, and individual viewpoint to guide her creations. Why is her art so varied? She calls this creative multiple personalities! Basically, she is in a phase of challenging herself to create varied images outside of her comfort zone.
