Sarah Zamora creates custom artwork designed to your unique situation and
specifications and created especially for you. Each piece is developed based on
your ideas, and sketches are approved based on your preferences. After we have
discussed final color choices and design, I will confirm your order and the painting
process begins. If you are interested in artwork I have already sold, let me know; we
will customize a piece with varied colors or images that will be perfect for you.
The paintings are created using water based acrylics and sealed with a matte or
gloss varnish. Due to the nature of the paint, each piece will have some areas that
appear structured and other areas more organic, with the colors varying from opaque
to translucent. This is the unique character of the creation, and should be seen as
proof of it's originality and handcrafted quality.
Most pieces of artwork are painted on premium stretched gallery quality canvas (see
photos below). These canvases appears seamless (no visible staples) and are 1
1/2 inches deep; the design continues on all sides so there is no need for additional
framing. Occasionally, I paint on studio (student grade) canvas or canvas board (see
photos below). These paintings are ready to be framed, trimmed, or hung with a
bow. Each piece arrives ready to hang gracefully upon the walls of your room.
There are some pieces (drawings, collages, watercolors) that may be on paper or
other mixed mediums.
The process for custom work, from initial order to arrival of your original masterpiece
can take 2-3 weeks, though art is often painted and shipped within the same week.
