Custom, Commissioned, Original Artwork

How does it work?
Seeking the perfect original piece of art to
compliment your decor, fit into an awkward space, or
provide a focal point to your room?
You've come to the right place.
Check out a few examples of the process below.
SPHERICAL INTRUSION
is a commissioned piece.
The owner wanted a large, colorful
focal point to reside over her sofa
and tie her decor together.
1) Other Paintings of Mine that she liked:

2) The Colors she chose:

4) The first draft/initial layout (with a zoom too)

5) Finished Product:
  1. First, she looked at my portfolio
    and chose several images she
    liked, pointing out her favorite
themes and images in the designs
  2. Second, she picked her colors
from my 150 color swatches, and
chose size and type of canvas.
  3. I gave her a few ideas I had for the
    design; she didn't want to
'overplan' it...She said "I trust you,
just go for it!  Surprise me!"
  4. After deciding on the price and
receiving a deposit to order the
    canvas, I began painting.  I
emailed a 'draft' of the painting for
    initial reaction.
  5. Painting was complete!
1) I looked at a few images of Tuscany...

2) Selected some basic colors from my swatches:

3) Finished Product:
  Sides are finished
  in rich, mottled
  antique chocolate

TUSCANY AT EVE
is a commissioned surprise gift.
The gift giver got some basic
information about her target, and I
created a custom painting for her to
give...the perfect gift!
  1. The recipient of the gift likes
Tuscany, Italy.  I found a few
photos of Tuscany hillsides to use
    for inspiration
  2. Her favorite colors to decorate with
are Olive Greens, Deep Reds, and
Browns. I chose a few basic colors
to use  ( I supplemented with
    yellows, blues, purple, white, etc.)
  3. Painting was complete!
